The short version is that I discovered I'd left the back door unlatched - after I'd heard a strange voice coming from the guest room and my dogs started barking. After a lot of courage to open the door, not once but twice, I finally realized the sound came from the closet. It turned out to be a Halloween display my brother had stored there and it was motion sensitive. I figured the battery was running down since there was nothing else to trigger it. I have the full story over on my website, but I was pretty keyed up for about 20 minutes before I had the courage to open the doors. The dogs barked for hours afterwards, though. I guess they didn't like the deep voice saying"You rang?"Maer Whttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10878976064286784826noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1031436301648325371.post-42906348093944376692013-10-31T20:36:48.288-07:002013-10-31T20:36:48.288-07:00I believe him - the Ouija board can be right on th...I believe him - the Ouija board can be right on the mark sometimes. When I was a kid we went through a period where we were fascinated by the ouija board. I swear my brother and I communicated with this little boy who claimed he'd once lived in our house. Never could prove whether that was true, but it was an interesting story.Cindy Young-Turnerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06220124091482646042noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1031436301648325371.post-55699494804842955642013-10-31T06:19:12.129-07:002013-10-31T06:19:12.129-07:00Ooooh! (tiny little town).
one night this big black dog came up to our house onto the bottom of the stairs and started barking like crazy, when my older brother opened the door to shoo him away something grabbed him by the throat and started to choke him. the dog freaks and starts barking even harder and gets right up next to my brother who suddenly gets flung backwards into the house.
that dog sat outside all night growling and barking. in the morning he was gone and we never could find him and no one in town owned a dog like that. needless to say we moved not long after that.

tammy ramey
trvlagnt1t@yahoo.comwyndwhisperhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04720377867271773798noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1031436301648325371.post-26635266127973937562013-10-30T20:07:18.337-07:002013-10-30T20:07:18.337-07:00I've got nothing as scary as your story! Scary!

My scariest actual Halloween involved bullying boys chasing my sister and her friend down the block, throwing things at them. The boys were in my grade and older, and I was pretty shy around boys, but I couldn't let them push my sister around! The downside was I had to let the younger girls trick-or-treat with us for the rest of the night - this was back when parents weren't hovering at the sidewalk all night. We kept waiting for the boys to attack for the rest of the night... but they never did.Katie O'Sullivanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17295418503546522882noreply@blogger.com
